Annual General Meeting
2010 was our Centenary year and the website includes a brief history of the Association
The association membership averages around 60 people and membership is open to all people with an interest in our aims and objectives .Subscription for 2011/12 is £8 per person.
The business of the Association is managed by the members of the Executive Committee, the President is chairs of this committee, The Committee are responsible for the oversight of the Association, its activities and for ensuring the organisation principles are reviewed and updated as and when required.
President Laird Mark Macartney ISM and a number of the associations Past Presidents are members of the Scottish Presidents Association.
Our Logo comprises the saltire, two thistles, Scotland's national emblem, and the famous Crooked Spire of St Mary's Church, Chesterfield, The saltire and the thistles represent the Caledonian connection and the St Mary's spire represents Chesterfield - the home town of the Association.
We have regular contact with kindred Associations throughout, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
